A conversation that stays close to the work.
I built Chatterbox around the way I work across coding and creative projects. A project needs more than a prompt: it has a folder, a history, decisions, and work that continues after one reply. The Mac app gives that ongoing conversation a practical home while Claude and Codex do the work.
My contribution
SCOPE OF WORKA workspace for projects
Project-bound chats keep the conversation beside its working folder. Repository context, issues, and live plans help make the next step visible.
Working alongside an agent
Progress notes, tool steps, and final replies have different jobs in the interface. The message box stays available so I can steer work while it is running.
Native integration
The Swift app connects to the installed Claude Code and Codex tools, using their existing sign-in and configuration rather than requiring a separate API-key workflow.
The interface is part of the workflow
Seeing an agent work is different from reading its final answer. Chatterbox keeps progress available during a turn, then folds completed steps away so the conversation remains readable. Model presets, permission controls, and project navigation sit close to the task.
Continuity across tools
A conversation can move between Claude and Codex with a transcript handoff. Their underlying histories remain separate; the app supplies the missed conversation as context. The goal is to make changing tools compatible with continuing the same project.
